LINCOLN — Save a Life Community Recovery Resources invites the community to come together for an evening of music, connection and awareness at their World No Tobacco Day Hip-Hop & Pop Event at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 31 at 19 VFW St.
This free community event will feature live performances from local artists including Izzy Ivy, Daft Royal, Emerald777 and Sapphire777, bringing powerful energy and creativity to the stage while helping raise awareness about tobacco use’s impact and the importance of healthy lifestyles.
World No Tobacco Day is recognized globally as a time to educate communities about the dangers of tobacco use and encourage healthier choices for future generations. Save a Life Community Recovery Resources hopes this event will inspire conversation, promote recovery and wellness, and provide a fun, supportive atmosphere for people of all ages.
“This event is about more than music,” Director Ashley Mitchell said. “It’s about showing our community that we can come together, celebrate creativity and support healthier futures without tobacco.”
Admission is free, and donations are welcome to help support recovery programs and community outreach efforts at Save a Life Community Recovery Resources.
Community members, families and supporters are encouraged to attend and enjoy an evening of music, positivity, and awareness.
