Kris Jenner tried Ozempic for weight loss, but it wasn’t for her.
“I did not do, like, an Ozempic. I tried it,” Jenner, 70, said during the Tuesday, May 5, episode of the “She MD” podcast. “We tried it once when no one knew what it was, and it made me really sick.”
Jenner said she was “nauseous” during the brief period she was on the medication before looking at “different options” for her health.
“I love peptides. I love supplements. I take care of myself,” Jenner said when asked how she looks so good at her age. “I get my blood drawn every three months just to keep my hormones balanced because I realized after I was 45 that was important to your physical female health.”
Getting regular blood tests became a “game changer” for Jenner.
“When you look at your thyroid, you look at your hormone health and you look at what your body needs,” Jenner added. “Then, I started really doing peptides.”
According to WebMD, peptides include several benefits. They are often added to skincare products for antiaging but can also help boost muscle growth and weight loss.
“I realized that a peptide injection was really great for me. Then, I follow it up with supplements,” Jenner said on Tuesday. “That actually bought me an extra couple hours at night. Because I get up so early, I tend to want to go and collapse as soon as I have my last email or my last call or see my kids and have dinner and I’m done.”

The reality star continued, “This really bought me a couple of extra hours every day. I felt like I had more energy.”
Jenner also discussed her “very well-known” facelift during the podcast.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum confirmed during an August 2025 interview with Vogue that she went to Dr. Steven Levine in New York City for a facelift.
“I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh,” Jenner explained. “I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy.”
She added, “Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself. If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully — meaning you don’t want to do anything — then don’t do anything. But for me, this is aging gracefully. It’s my version.”
