Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden’s family feels “complete” with the addition of their baby boy, Nautas.
“They are ecstatic about adding [another] son to their family,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly two days after Diaz, 53, and Madden, 47, announced that they had welcomed their third child. “Not many people in their circle knew because they weren’t sure it would become a reality.”
Diaz and Madden, who tied the knot in 2015, are also parents to daughters Raddix, 6, and son Cardinal, 2. All three of their children were born via surrogate.
“Cameron feels very fortunate to have had amazing surrogates, and it has been a long journey for her and Benji,” the insider continues. “This feels like exactly what they always wanted, and their family now feels whole.”

Madden announced their youngest son’s birth via Instagram on Monday, May 4.
“Cameron and I are Happy, Excited, and feeling so BLESSED to announce the birth of our third Child, Nautas Madden. Welcome to the world Son!!👊❤️,” he captioned his post. “We love life with our family- our kids are healthy&happy, and we are grateful!!!🙏🙏having a blast ❤️Sending all our best wishes- the Madden Family ❤️🙏👊🏴☠️.”

Along with his caption, Madden shared a One Piece-themed graphic and other artwork showcasing the meaning behind Nautas’ name. The moniker is derived from the Latin word “nauta,” meaning “sailor, navigator, voyager.”

Nautas’ arrival comes just over one year after Diaz returned to acting following a nearly decade-long hiatus. She starred in Netflix’s Back in Action in January 2025 alongside Jamie Foxx, followed by AppleTV film Outcome, which was released on April 10. Diaz is also set to film the movies Bad Day and Shrek 5.
“Cameron has been very intentional with her recent acting projects and doesn’t feel she is full force back into the industry,” the insider tells Us. “She is slowly dipping back in and remains very focused on [her organic wine brand] Avaline.”
As for Diaz and Madden, the spouses “currently love their life in Montecito and live a really low-key lifestyle.”
“It has let them raise their kids out of the spotlight, which was their goal,” the source concludes. “[Diaz’s] focus is entirely on family right now, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.”
