The five Democrats vying to replace Gov. Janet Mills will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. for a debate hosted by CBS News 13 and the Bangor Daily News.
It’s the second debate in the race within five days. The last one came Thursday, when the candidates praised but diverged from Mills on the day that she suspended her U.S. Senate primary campaign.
The candidates are former House Speaker Hannah Pingree, Secretary of State Shenna Bellows, former Maine Senate President Troy Jackson, former Maine public health chief Nirav Shah and former clean energy executive Angus King III.
We will be covering the debate live. Check back here closer to debate time for a streaming link and live updates.
