Years spent farming teach lessons that never change: work hard, keep your word, and solve problems with common sense. My time serving in the Maine Legislature taught me something similar about public service. People expect honesty, accountability, and leaders who remember who sent them there.
That is why I am supporting Garrett Mason for governor.
Maine needs a governor who understands our values and also understands how to make government work for the people again. I believe Garrett Mason brings both. He respects taxpayers, believes in responsible government, supports our rural communities, and knows that families and small businesses need relief — not more burdens from Augusta.
I have also seen that Garrett approaches leadership seriously. He studies the issues, knows how state government operates, and understands where change is needed because he has actually done this at the legislative level before. That matters.
Good ideas only go so far if a leader does not know how to put them into action. Garrett has a proven record of putting his words into real action.
This is an important moment for Maine. Families are feeling the pressure of higher costs, communities want stronger leadership, and many people feel unheard.
We need someone prepared to lead today, from the first day in office, with steady judgment and clear priorities, real change can occur.
I believe Garrett Mason is ready for that responsibility, and I encourage voters to give him their consideration.
