Serving in public office gives you a close look at who is serious about leadership and who is simply chasing the moment. It teaches you that experience, judgment, and conviction matter far more than slogans.

That is why I am supporting Garrett Mason for governor.

As a legislator and as someone who has campaigned across Maine, I know that people want many of the same things: safer communities, a stronger economy, lower costs, and a government that respects their freedoms and their tax dollars. They also want leaders who know how to deliver results.

I believe Garrett Mason has the background and the discipline to do exactly that. He understands the inner workings of Augusta, where the roadblocks are, and how to move an agenda forward. That kind of practical knowledge matters if we want real change instead of more frustration.

Just as important, I think Garrett has remained grounded in the principles that matter to Maine conservatives: limited government, personal responsibility, public safety, and accountability to the people.

This election is about more than rhetoric. It is about choosing someone ready to lead on day one.

I believe Garrett Mason is prepared for that challenge and would serve Maine with integrity and purpose.
