Former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky has thoughts on letting her and husband Kevin Manno’s daughter have a sleepover.
“These are such loaded questions in our household,” Fedotowsky, 41, wrote via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, April 21, when asked for her opinion on sleepovers and phones for her kids. “Ones I talk with Molly about pretty frequently cause she is always asking about both topics.”
Fedotowsky noted that she “totally [understands]” people’s concerns around sleepovers, adding that “it’s also really tough.”
“But we do allow them with people we know really really well,” she said. “I guess I just kind of feel like if we shelter her from them up until she leaves for college then she’s really not gonna know how to handle herself out in the real world so at some point we need to be more lenient with them. I don’t know. I go back and forth.”

As for phones, Fedotowsky explained that she and Manno, 42, are “waiting as long as we can.”
“I’d like to wait till eighth grade, but I don’t know if that will work for Molly so I’m taking it one year at a time,” she explained.
Fedotowsky and Manno welcomed daughter Molly in 2016, one year before their wedding. The couple welcomed son Riley in May 2018.
Last year, Fedotowsky opened up about the family’s decision to relocate from Nashville to California.

“You guessed it… we’re heading back to California, and we couldn’t be happier 🌊☀️,” Fedotwsky wrote via Instagram. “Every part of me knows this is right for our family. Each time we have visited, it was like our souls came alive in a way they didn’t anywhere else.”
She continued, “Kevin is pumped, and the kids can’t wait to live near the beach. And for me personally… sure, it’ll feel good to breathe easier (byeeeee allergies 👋🏻 ), but it’s more than that. It’s a deep feeling in my soul that San Diego is where we belong. And honestly, I’ve felt so guided through this whole process—signs from loved ones and little nudges along the way (I’ll share more on that later—it’s really cool).”
Fedotowsky gushed that she’s “forever grateful” for the family’s chapter in Nashville, noting that they have made “lifelong friends, tried new things, and learned so much.”
“Moving here was 100 percent the right decision for that season. No experience is ever wasted, only learned from,” she wrote. “I’ll miss my beautiful friends, warm summer nights, fireflies, and long lake days ❤️. Moving across the country isn’t easy (trust me, we’ve done it before 🤪), but it’s worth it when you know you’re going where you’re meant to be. California, we’re coming home. ✨ Here’s to what’s next ❤️.”
