Sometimes, it feels like Peacock is being fed the scraps from other streaming services. But not this month.

This week, Peacock had the streaming premiere of the live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon, one of this year’s surprise hits.

That film is the No. 1 choice on Watch With Us‘ list of the three great Peacock movies to binge-watch this weekend.

Our remaining picks include an iconic horror comedy and a bizarre crime/horror hybrid that we love.

When Is the ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ Remake Streaming? Find Out When and Where to Watch

‘How to Train Your Dragon’ (2025)

If you were wondering whether there was still an audience for How to Train Your Dragon six years after the final animated movie, the live-action film’s $635.7 million worldwide take suggests that there is. The story is the same as the original animated film, but it’s still entertaining 15 years later.

In the age of Vikings, the chief’s son, Hiccup (Mason Thames), is considered a failure because he isn’t physically strong. However, Hiccup’s strength lies in his mind and his compassion. After saving the life of a dragon he calls Toothless, Hiccup discovers that dragons and humans can peacefully coexist. Convincing the rest of his tribe may be a problem, especially his father, Stoick the Vast, as played by Gerard Butler, who reprises his role from the animated movies.

How to Train Your Dragon is streaming on Peacock.

‘Scary Movie’ (2000)

Scary Movie liberally borrows its plot from Scream while lifting its subplot from I Know What You Did Last Summer and scenes from other horror flicks. It’s not exactly subtle when one of the characters is named Buffy Gilmore (Shannon Elizabeth), but the humor in this film is a lot funnier than anything in its sequels.

9 Great Horror Movies That Are Actually Funny (October 2025)

Anna Faris‘s Cindy Campbell carries a lot of the movie, but she’s backed by a hilarious supporting cast including Regina Hall, Shawn Wayans, Marlon Wayans and more. It’s gloriously stupid at times, but very enjoyable. If the upcoming Scary Movie sequel is half as good as this film, I’ll be the first in line for it.

‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ (1996)

The first half of director Robert Rodriguez‘s From Dusk Till Dawn plays like a typical Quentin Tarantino film, which is appropriate since Tarantino wrote the script and costars in the movie as Richie Gecko. Richie and his brother, Seth (George Clooney), are bank robbers on the run for the border. To sneak past the border patrol, the Gecko brothers abduct Jacob Fuller (Harvey Keitel) and his children, Scott (Ernest Liu) and Kate (Juliette Lewis).

Things take a wild turn when Santanico Pandemonium (Salma Hayek) and her vampires attack the group at a Mexican dive bar. To get out alive and save their souls, Gecko and the Fullers have to work together. Even then, they may not be enough to overcome the undead.

From Dusk Till Dawn is streaming on Peacock.
