Dr. Wendy Osefo and Eddie Osefo have never been shy about sharing their love story with the world.
Ever since joining The Real Housewives of Potomac in 2020, the Bravo reality stars have celebrated their marriage and family life.
The couple initially met as teenagers and were friends for several years before things turned romantic after they graduated from college.
In August 2025, Wendy and Eddie celebrated 14 years of marriage with a tropical vacation away from their three kids.

“14 YEARS 💍 We did the work and prayerfully, God has done the rest,” Wendy wrote via Instagram at the time. “We have built a life that will outlive us, and for that I am forever grateful. If given the opportunity, I would choose you in this lifetime and again in the next. I’m blessed to call you my best friend and honored to have your last name. Happy 14th Anniversary my love. Cheers to Forever 🥂✨ #TeamOsefo.”
In October 2025, however, the couple found themselves in a legal situation when they were arrested and booked on fraud charges. (Us Weekly has reached out for comment.)

May 2010
When Eddie popped the question, he presented Wendy with a princess-cut diamond ring on her 26th birthday.
“He picked it out. It was a princess cut, and it was flanked with diamonds on the band. So beautiful,” Wendy told Bravo’s The Daily Dish in January 2025. “I just wore it the other day. It’s still as gorgeous as ever.”
August 2011
Nearly 15 months after receiving a romantic proposal, Wendy married Eddie in front of 150 people.
“We had four different outfit changes. It was amazing,” she told Bravo’s The Daily Dish about the “white church wedding” in Maryland.
“We had to have the outfit to dance into the reception hall with, then you had the traditional Nigerian outfit, then you had the other outfit that we wanted to do our final dance with,” she added about the fashion. “It was a lot.”
July 2019
After the births of their sons, Karter and Kruz, Wendy and Eddie were able to welcome a baby girl named Kamrynn.
“You made our family complete and we are in awe at your kindness, compassion and head strong nature,” Wendy wrote via Instagram in July 2022 when celebrating her daughter’s 3rd birthday. “We love you beyond life.”
August 2020
Wendy and Eddie joined The Real Housewives of Potomac for season 5.
“I know some of the ladies. We run in similar social circles, and I sit on some of the same nonprofit boards,” Wendy explained to The Washington Post before the season premiere. “Since that was the case, it was a very organic relationship, and I was approached to do the show.”
August 2025
The pair celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary with a romantic beach vacation.
“Happy Wedding Anniversary to my best friend, life partner, pro bono therapist, hype woman and everything in between,” Eddie wrote via Instagram on August 20. “I couldn’t imagine doing this life without you and these past FOURTEEN years have been nothing short of a blessing. We have created 3 little people with our love 🙏🏾😍❤️a constant reminder of Gods love in our marriage. Cheers to many more memories created, tears shed, blessings received and massive amounts of laughter shared. After all these years, I STILL choose you 😘.”
October 2025
Us confirmed that Wendy and Eddie were arrested and booked on fraud charges.
According to court documents obtained by Us, a grand jury indicted both parties on October 9 for insurance fraud, conspiracy insurance fraud and making a false statement to a police officer.
The pair were booked in Westminster, Maryland, according to court records. Bail was set at $50,000.
“Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, Edward Osefo, are back home safely with their family and in good spirits,” a rep for the couple shared with Us on October 10. “They are grateful for the outpouring of concern and support from friends, fans and colleagues. The Osefos, alongside their legal team, look forward to their day in court. At this time, they respectfully ask for privacy as they focus on their family and the legal process ahead.”
