
It will take several days before power is fully restored across Maine after Wednesday’s storm.
The storm delivered high winds gusting up to 60 mph, along with heavy rain. Many towns saw more than 2 inches of rain fall before sunrise Thursday.
As of 9:30 a.m., Versant Power reported 65,663 customers without power, while Central Maine Power had just 16,493 outages across its service area.
Versant Power warned that it will take several days before power is fully restored.
