All across the state Mainers have been digging out after a major spring nor’easter struck on Thursday.
That left more than 300,000 Mainers without power at the height of the storm. Just before 9 a.m. Friday, Central Maine Power reported 254,497 customers without power, and Versant Power 5,346 across its service area.
The restoration could take some time.
