I think Graham Platner’s bid for the U.S. Senate should be over. We cannot ignore his history of what I consider a complete lack of self-control relating to sexual acts in public restrooms.
Platner bragged on the internet that he cannot use a public restroom without acting on an impulse and expressed how deeply affected he was by looking at inappropriate drawings on a military restroom wall.
To me, these comments paint a picture of a man who has absolutely no self control, is undisciplined, and entirely out of touch with the dignity of the office he seeks.
As a voter and a woman, I am deeply troubled by his comments and his confidence to brag about them. His apparent lack of shame regarding his inability to adhere to public conduct standards is not fit for someone running to represent Mainers in Washington.
Graham Platner’s uncontrolled habits make him wholly unfit for office and I will not be voting for him.
