BANGOR — The Class of 2026 Bangor Christian School Valedictorian is Levi Cravin, son of Michael and Suzanna Cravin of Hermon. Levi has attended Bangor Christian for his entire school career. He was a varsity cross country runner, basketball player and received fall scholar-athlete awards for his freshman and sophomore years. In addition, he was very excited to earn fall PVC All-Scholar Athlete recognition and win a scholarship his senior year.

Cravin

Levi has received multiple academic awards including top student award in many of his classes. He attended the United Technologies Center his senior year where he studied carpentry, proudly earning a spot in the National Technical Honors Society. In addition to achieving high honors every quarter of high school, Levi completed two dual enrollment classes earning six college credits and served as class chaplain each year. He also earned several scholarships!

Levi is actively involved in both his church and school’s worship teams. He volunteers and tutors in the music room and regularly teaches children at his church. He is currently working at Chick-fil-A and looks forward to working at camp for the summer ahead. In the fall, Levi will attend New Brunswick Bible Institute to pursue a degree in Theology.

Salutatorian is Joshua Bupp, son of Daniel and Erin Bupp of Bangor. Joshua came to Bangor Christian at the beginning of his junior year and has enjoyed his time very much. Academic Awards include high honors all four years of high school; highest honors for both of his years at BCS; and the Top Student Award in several classes.

Bupp

Joshua has served as a student council representative during his junior and senior years. He competed in the IMPACT writing competition, where he received an honorable mention in high school writing and judged middle school writing. Joshua was a member of the yearbook club in his senior year, where he helped write, design and edit the 2025-26 BCS Yearbook. He and other students led the pledge of allegiance at an appearance of Vice President J.D. Vance at the Bangor International Airport and had the opportunity to hear the vice president speak in person.

Joshua is looking forward to going on to Eastern Maine Community College for elementary education in the fall.
