A man died on Tuesday after he was hit by a car in the Penobscot County town of Bradford.
The crash happened at about 12:40 p.m on Route 221 between Jacks Way and Mossy Creek Lane, WABI reported.
Penobscot County Sheriff Troy Morton told the TV station that the man was in the road when he was hit by the car, which was traveling south. Despite lifesaving efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neither the victim nor the driver has been identified.
