
The Lewiston Police Department said five teens have been charged with criminal conspiracy to commit murder after a shooting on Pierce Street Saturday night.
Police said the shooting happened around 11 p.m. in the area of 125 Pierce St.
Officers who responded to the scene found several shell casings behind an apartment building and multiple bullet holes entering a targeted apartment, according to police.
The intended victims told police that they had been warned earlier in the night that they may be targeted.
Police said five juveniles have been charged in what is being considered a “retaliatory shooting.”

All five suspects have been taken to Long Creek Youth Development Center.
The investigation is ongoing. Police are asking the public to contact them if they have any information about the incident.
