A young child was critically injured Thursday evening by a lawn tractor in Kenduskeag.
The incident happened about 6 p.m. on Stetson Road, according to Penobscot County Sheriff Troy Morton.
The child was critically injured and taken to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Morton said late Thursday night.
“Out of respect for the child, their family, the first-responders, and hospital personnel involved, no further information will be released at this time,” Morton said.
