A coffee roaster started a Sunday blaze that burned a Wilton cafe and apartment.
The fire broke out about 6:57 p.m. at Chaos Coffee Cafe on Main Street, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
When firefighters arrived, they found heavy flames in the rear of the wooden three-story building. An apartment was located on the second and third floors.
The woman who lived in the apartment was taken to MaineHealth Franklin Hospital in Farmington, where she was treated for smoke inhalation.
The fire caused extensive damage, leaving the building uninhabitable, Moss said Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators believe the fire started in a coffee roaster in the cafe and ruled it accidental.
