Bangor police are warning about a surge in vehicle burglaries.
Numerous people have reported valuables being stolen from unlocked vehicles in recent days, according to the Bangor Police Department.
That comes on the heels of reports of a string of vehicle burglaries in Eddington earlier this month and a rash of vehicle thefts across multiple counties, the latter of which resulted in five arrests this week.
Police urge residents of the Queen City to remove valuables from their vehicles and to keep their doors locked.
