A Little Caesars takeout restaurant is coming to Renys Plaza in Belfast.
The branch of the national chain known for cheap pizzas sold in pairs will be located in the corner storefront of the plaza that was formerly Green with Envy Salon & Spa.
James Allen of Talon Foods is the franchisee. He owns five other Little Caesar’s restaurants in Maine and Vermont, according to the city of Belfast.
The restaurant will offer takeout or delivery through third-party food delivery services, but no dine-in option.
It will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week, and will employ 10-12 people, according to the city.
The restaurant does not have a set opening date but is expected to open in mid-June, according to project manager Jordan Garrow of 1776 construction.

Justin Wade, a Little Caesars operator who lives in Belmont and previously worked at Renys, spoke to the Belfast Planning Board in December on behalf of Allen, who he said splits time between Rockport and Las Vegas.
Wade said the owners want to replace the existing green awning with an orange one and install a 4-foot sign with the company’s ancient Roman mascot but no lettering. Otherwise, modifications would be limited to converting the former salon and spa to a pizza shop.
Little Caesars has had its eye on Belfast since at least 2014.
Wade, who runs the Brewer Little Caesars, said the decision to open one in Belfast was partly to do with his living in the area.
“That’s where Belfast comes into play, because I live local and I oversee a few of them,” he said.
