Kaden Bedard, the son of Maine basketball legend and former University of Maine standout Andy Bedard, has committed to play basketball for UMaine.
Bedard will join his friend Ace Flagg in Orono. He grew up playing with both Cooper and Ace on Maine United teams.
Most recently, Bedard starred for the Newman School in Boston. He is expected to head to Orono in the fall.
An interview with Bedard is scheduled to air on Thursday night on CBS 13.
