Peacock is never better than at the beginning of the month when it has a brand-new lineup of movies to enjoy.

For the first weekend of May, Peacock has a lot of options for film lovers to enjoy, regardless of which genres they love.

Watch With Us has narrowed down this week’s picks to the three best Peacock movies to binge-watch this weekend.

Our selections include an acclaimed musical, a thriller and an emotionally charged drama starring an Oscar-winning actress.

What’s New on Peacock in May 2026 — The Full List of Movies and TV Shows

‘Chicago’ (2002)

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the play Chicago, which in turn led to the 1975 musical and the Oscar-winning 2002 film adaptation. Renée Zellweger and Catherine Zeta-Jones star as Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, a pair of strangers whose only traits in common are their desire to be vaudeville stars and the fact that they both murdered their respective lovers. Now, they’re both stuck in prison and potentially facing the death penalty. And they can’t stand each other at all.

Roxie may have the edge when it comes to escaping her fate, thanks in part to her slick lawyer, Billy Flynn (Richard Gere). Velma is clearly the better singer, but Roxie is a master at manipulating the court of public opinion. No lie is too big for Roxie to tell, and she’s going to need some whoppers if she wants to escape her pending execution. All the singing and dancing in the world can only put off that fate for so long.

Chicago is streaming on Peacock.

‘Kiss the Girls’ (1997)

Kiss the Girls was the first Alex Cross movie starring Morgan Freeman as James Patterson‘s literary detective. Someone is kidnapping and murdering young women in Washington, D.C., and it quickly becomes very personal for Cross when his niece, Naomi Cross (Gina Ravera), is one of the victims. Whoever the serial killer is, he’s proven to be very good at covering his tracks. At least until he kidnapped Kate McTiernan (Ashley Judd).

Unlike the other victims, Kate knows how to fight, and she doesn’t stop struggling with the killer. Kate even manages to escape the killer’s remote hideaway. As the only known survivor of the killer, Kate may be Cross’ best hope of reuniting with his niece. But in order to retrace her steps, Kate will have to directly team up with Cross and help him hunt down the killer.

Kiss the Girls is streaming on Peacock.

‘Ordinary Angels’ (2024)

Hilary Swank leads the cast of Ordinary Angels as Sharon, a hairdresser whose alcoholism is ruining her life. But upon hearing about a teenage girl, Michelle (Emily Mitchell), who is facing an early grave without a liver transplant, Sharon becomes deeply moved. So much so that Sharon devotes herself to helping the family even when they don’t even know her.

Michelle’s father, Ed (Alan Ritchson), doesn’t really know what to make of this stranger who has inserted herself into their lives. Most of Sharon’s actions come from a sense of altruism and charity. But she’s far from perfect, and Sharon’s shortcomings may ultimately alienate her from the family she so desperately wants to save.

Ordinary Angels is streaming on Peacock.
