Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner will be hosting a town hall meeting in Augusta at the Governor Hill Mansion at 11 a.m.
The event will be streaming on the Bangor Daily News‘ site, as well as the BDN’s Facebook page.
It comes after the news Thursday morning that Maine Gov. Janet Mills would be suspending her campaign. He will likely face Republican Sen. Susan Collins in the November election.
Although Platner’s town hall meeting was already scheduled for Tuesday morning, along with another in Lisbon Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m., he will likely address Mills’ decision to leave the Democratic Senate race.
