A Burlington woman allegedly assaulted her partner Monday afternoon.
Olivia Carpentier, 30, has been charged with domestic violence assault, domestic violence criminal threatening, criminal restraint, obstructing government administration and refusing to submit to arrest, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
Carpentier allegedly assaulted her partner and threatened to burn down their home.
When deputies arrived to investigate, Carpentier allegedly refused to comply with commands and resisted arrest.
She was taken to the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor, where she remained midday Tuesday, according to the jail’s website.
Burlington is southeast of Lincoln.
