The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise will return in light of the drama surrounding Taylor Frankie Paul’s scrapped Bachelorette season.
“It’s official! The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise are coming back to your screens 🌹,” an Instagram post on the franchise’s Bachelor Nation account read on Wednesday, April 22.
The upload also featured a video of Bachelor Nation alums Joey Graziadei, Kelsey Anderson, Hannah Godwin, Dylan Barbour, Alexe Godin, Andrew Spencer and Jonathon Johnson dancing at Hulu’s Get Real Fest.
“Oh OK because Bachelor Nation has new seasons of The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise coming,” text over the video read.

The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise last aired in 2025. The franchise was set to return last month with Taylor, 31, leading a new season of The Bachelorette. The series was pulled from broadcast days before its premiere after resurfaced footage from Taylor’s 2023 domestic violence arrest.
“Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security,” a rep for the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star told Us Weekly in a March statement. “After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm.”
The spokesperson continued at the time, “There are too many women who are suffering in silence as they survive aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move on with their lives. Taylor has remained silent out of fear of further abuse, retaliation, and public shaming. She is currently exploring all of her options, seeking support, and preparing to own and share her story.”

Taylor was arrested in February 2023 after an alleged altercation with then-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen. She pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and was remanded to probation. Footage from the incident was leaked in March, showing Taylor throwing chairs at Dakota, 33, in front of her daughter. (Taylor shares daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 5, with ex-husband Tate Paul, as well as son Ever, 2, with Dakota.)
Us also confirmed in March that Utah police were investigating another alleged domestic violence incident between Taylor and Dakota that took place in February. Both Taylor and Dakota denied the accusations and law enforcement declined to press charges against Taylor earlier this month.
In light of the evolving scandal, it’s not known whether Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette will ever air.

“Everything with that is one day at a time,” ABC executive Rob Mills told Variety on Wednesday. “The day all of that stuff happened, really our first sort of concern was really for Taylor and the family and everyone involved in that … it was really more on a human level. I think her season is a wonderful season by Bachelor standards. If it gets seen, I’m sure people will absolutely enjoy it.”
As for her future on Mormon Wives, a source told Us on Wednesday that Taylor would be welcome back.
“The producers and cast have welcomed Taylor to return to this year’s filming,” the insider tells Us. “It is still unclear whether she will come back this year, but she is expected to be back in the future.”
