Alex Cooper and Alix Earle‘s drama doesn’t just have Us talking — it also has celebrities weighing in and choosing sides.
The influencers originally joined forces when Earle launched her “Hot Mess” podcast in September 2023 under Cooper’s Unwell Network. The podcast was ultimately dropped in February 2025 amid rumors of a rift between Cooper and Earle.
“Obviously, there’s been a lot of chatter online this week about me and work. And I also have no idea what’s going on,” Earle said via TikTok at the time, “Don’t really want to get into the details of it all, and I kind of can’t get into the details of it all right now, but I’ve loved it so much, and I’m really proud of what I built with the podcast.”
Cooper, for her part, remained mostly tight-lipped about the status of her friendship with Earle. A source later told Us Weekly that the duo faced a “lot of tension” due to issues in their professional relationship.
What Really Happened Between Alex Cooper and Alix Earle? Drama Timeline
“They’ve had a lot of drama between them [since] they decided to collaborate on Unwell,” a second insider shared. “They clashed over business, and their friendship is over because of it.”
After Earle continued to throw subtle shade at Cooper on social media, the “Call Her Daddy” podcast host released a public message.
“I’m really tired of waking up and seeing you using this fake drama to distract from other s*** going online for you. Not interested. I know what happened and so do you,” Cooper said in an April 2026 TikTok video. “So talk. Unless the fake narrative that you’re creating happens to be way more interesting than the truth. I have nothing to hide when it comes to you and me.”
Cooper urged Earle to “get specific” about their issues, adding, “Just say what you gotta say about me. There’s no NDA and no one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself. What’s the beef?”
She concluded: “Unless you actually have something to say, I’m out. This is over. Have a good Monday, everyone.”
Earle hinted she was ready to share her side of the story when she replied, “OK on it!!”
The back-and-forth ultimately riveted celebrities such as Bethenny Frankel, Harry Jowsey, Dave Portnoy and more. Keep scrolling to see their reactions as the Cooper vs. Earle drama heats up:
Unexpected Celebrity Feuds We Never Saw Coming
Bethenny Frankel
“Since I know the whole story I’ll tell it on my deathbed,” the former Real Housewives of New York City star teased in response to Alex Cooper’s initial video.
Thankfully, fans didn’t have to wait quite that long as Bethenny Frankel had a lot to say a few days later, calling the whole scandal “a form of bullying.”
“People are picking sides, making assumptions about things they don’t know,” she argued via TikTok on April 15, 2026. “You would never have this with men.”
Frankel boiled the whole ordeal down to a business dispute while praising Cooper as “the female Howard Stern.”
“I have had a lot of experience working with her. She has been nothing but professional, kind and her work ethic is another level,” the RHONY alum said. “She deserves all of her success. Whether you like it or not, it’s a pill you are going to have to swallow.”
Frankel suggested that Cooper and Earle’s business breakup has been blown completely out of proportion because of social media.
“Each of them could be my daughter, and I would never want my daughter to go through any of this because this is not how women should be acting,” she said. “Women should not be piling on, getting excited and wanting these women to go into a ring on pay-per-view just to make their lives feel better.”
Frankel concluded, “They’re both successful business women. Leave it at that.”
Dave Portnoy
In his own TikTok video, Dave Portnoy, whose company Barstool Sports previously owned the “Call Her Daddy” podcast rights, gave his own hot take on the situation.
“Alix clearly hates her,” he said. “We need one of them to just say what happened. I don’t know why Alex Cooper didn’t if you’re going to go that far. I think it’s definitely contract stuff.”
Harry Jowsey
Harry Jowsey, who has his own podcast under the Unwell Network, wanted to know “what is happening” after Alex Cooper’s TikTok.
Claudia Oshry
The influencer took to the comments section to add an “Omg” in response to Alex Cooper’s video.
Justin Anderson
After Alex Cooper posted her video, the hairstylist showed his support, adding, “Doing this on the Monday after Coachella is a MOVE. Alex Cooper out here playing chess. This is how you handle stuff.”
Chase McWhorter
The honorary member of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast replied to Alex Cooper’s post, writing, “Team Alex idc.”
Jana Kramer
Jana Kramer speculated on her “Whine Down” podcast on April 15, 2026, that Alex Cooper and Alix Earle may actually be in cahoots to promote a joint project of some kind.
“In my mind, I’m [wondering] is this all kind of a show for something they’re going to end up doing together one day,” she theorized. “Are they creating [a beef] as well? … I feel like anyone who says, ‘Go for it, say it,’ has nothing to hide.”
Ocean Spray
The juice brand jumped into the comments section on Alex Cooper’s TikTok video for a quick promotional plug.
“Things are about to get JUICYYYYY,” Ocean Spray’s account joked on on April 14, 2026.
Arizona Ice Tea
Ocean Spray wasn’t the only brand to get involved, as Arizona Ice Tea asked a relevant question in the comments section of Alex Cooper’s TikTok video.
“… So there’s tea?” the beverage company wondered on April 14, 2026.
Carl’s Jr.
Unlike many of the brands that randomly commented on the Alex Cooper–Alix Earle beef, restaurant chain Carl’s Jr. actually had a stake in the feud. The fast food giant recently partnered with Earle on a Super Bowl LX commercial for its “Hangover Burger.”
“While there seems to be plenty of beef circulating online lately, we promise ours is the juiciest. Alix’s authentic style was the perfect fit for our campaign,” a company spokesperson told Us Weekly on April 15, 2026. “She is the best in the business at postgame recovery, so it was a natural fit.”
The company added, “The campaign, which was focused on giving away our Hangover Burger as the post–big game recovery cure, delivered record-breaking results.”
Hallie Batchelder
The influencer, who hosts the “Extra Dirty” podcast under Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network, briefly weighed in on the drama while chatting with Gia Giudice.
“I wish everyone could just get along, at the end of the day,” Hallie Batchelder said during an episode of Giudice’s “Casual Chaos” podcast. “When it’s an internet conversation, everyone loves to put their two cents in. It’s between two people, and I think that most everyone else should butt out.”
She added, “I don’t like to see people fighting, and I don’t like seeing people saying mean things about others, and it’s upsetting to see.”
Batchelder said that she’s become “good friends” with Cooper since they started working together.
“She’s shown a lot of interest in me and developing my show and wanting me to succeed. I really appreciate her,” the podcast host continued. “I’d consider her a pretty close friend, and she’s the best.”
