Police arrested a 27-year-old New Hampshire man on Friday for allegedly setting fire to multiple vehicles on his grandfather’s property in Lebanon, Maine.
The incident happened on a wooded lot at 158 Upper Barley Road. Firefighters found four vehicles that had been destroyed.
The Lebanon Fire Department called in the state fire marshal’s office on April 6. Investigators determined the fires to be arson and subsequently issued an arrest warrant for Jayce Racicot of Rochester, New Hampshire, the grandson of the property owner, according to the fire marshal’s office.
Rochester police arrested Racicot on Friday, four days after the fire marshal’s investigation. He is being held at the Strafford County Department of Corrections pending a fugitive from justice hearing.
