Martha Stewart has finally confirmed that she will appear on The Real Housewives of New York City season 16.
“The filming was very fun,” Martha, 84, told TMZ on Thursday, March 26. “They’re very professional and I think it’s going to be a very exciting series.”
Rumors started swirling earlier this month when TMZ reported that the lifestyle guru recently shot a scene with her longtime makeup artist Daisy Toye, who joined RHONY for season 16.
“Daisy is a fabulous Housewife of New York,” Martha beamed on Thursday.

Stewart was a bit more hesitant when asked whether she was interested in making future appearances on RHONY with her friend Daisy.
“I think it was probably one-and-a-half and done,” she joked.
Last year, Page Six reported that Martha was being courted by Bravo to become a full-time cast member on RHONY as a way to revamp the show. Her rep quickly shot down the speculation, telling the publication, “[Martha] says she is not a ‘Housewife.’”
Still, even a cameo appearance from Martha is bound to give The Real Housewives of New York City season 16 a boost. The Bravo show has undergone a massive cast overhaul following the departures from Brynn Whitfield, Ubah Hassan and Jenna Lyons at the end of a contentious season in 2025.
Bravo paused filming on RHONY as it worked on a new cast, before finally announcing this month that Sai De Silva, Erin Lichy and Jessel Taank will be back alongside newbies Daisy, Hailey Glassman and Erika Hammond.
Carole Radziwill is set to return in season 16 as a “friend of the Housewives” as a way to bridge the original and new eras of RHONY. (Carole was originally in the RHONY cast between seasons 5 and 10.)
Earlier this month, Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen dropped hints about the way Carole, 62, will be reintroduced into RHONY.
“We’re excited that Carole is coming back as a friend,” Cohen, 57, told fans at a SXSW panel on March 15. “People love seeing familiar faces and old friends.”
He then hinted, “Carole keeps pointing out, ‘I actually know more people in this group than I did when I joined the original show in season 5 all those years ago.’”

Cohen promised fans that the dynamic among the RHONY ladies is more “organic” in season 16 after a rocky few years for the show. (RHONY was originally put on pause in 2021 and eventually rebooted with a whole new cast. The Housewives show was briefly shelved again last year for a cast retooling.)
“We know that the elements that are super important, certainly in New York and any other cast, is that the women have a deep connection as a group,” Cohen pointed out. “The new cast really has that.”
The Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen host suggested that the keys to any Housewives franchise are for there to be “real things happening in [the cast’s] lives” and “a great deal of humor” to keep audiences hooked.
