This June, streamers such as HBO Max and Hulu are releasing new movies every week that demand your time and attention. Last week, HBO Max released Mountainhead, a hilarious black comedy from the creator of Succession, and just premiered the crime drama The Alto Knights, with Robert De Niro in rare dual roles as feuding mob bosses.
Over at Hulu, the winter horror movie Presence is set to creep out a whole new audience this summer, while Ben Affleck returns as everyone’s favorite autistic assassin in The Accountant 2.
There’s no shortage of movie options this weekend, so cancel those outdoor plans, renew those subscriptions and watch some films you may have missed in the theater.
