Meghan Markle is recalling a sweet moment with her and husband Prince Harry’s 5-year-old son Archie.

Meghan, 43, shared in an interview with People published on Monday, March 3, that Archie woke up one morning and sleepily told her, “Mama, don’t work too hard.”

Days later, Meghan reflected on the moment and gushed to the outlet, “It was the sweetest thing.” (The Duchess of Sussex welcomed Archie with Harry, 40, in May 2019; daughter Lilibet arrived in June 2021. The Duke and Duchess wed in 2018.)

After Meghan and Harry announced their decision to step back as senior members of the royal family in 2020, the pair created their nonprofit organization, Archewell Foundation, and secured various business deals. (Meghan and Harry signed a deal with Netflix and Spotify in 2020, releasing the docuseries Harry & Meghan and her “Archetypes” podcast on the respective platforms. The twosome’s deal with Spotify ended in 2023.)

Years later, Meghan debuted her new business, American Riviera Orchard, in 2024 — making headlines for her first-ever product, jars of jam, that she had delivered to several famous pals. The next year, Meghan shared that she altered the name of her brand to As Ever.

“Last year, I had thought, ‘American Riviera, that sounds like such a great name,’” Meghan said via Instagram in February. “It’s my neighborhood; it’s a nickname for Santa Barbara, but it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area.”

Meghan shared that she altered the name when “Netflix came on, not just as my partner in the show, but as my partner in my business. which was huge. So I thought about it, and I’ve been waiting for a moment to share a name that I had secured in 2022, and this is the moment, and it’s called As Ever.”

The launch coincides with Meghan’s new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, which debuts on the streaming platform on Tuesday, March 4. In the eight-episode show, Meghan will be joined by famous faces including Mindy Kaling, Abigail Spencer and celebrity chef Roy Choi.

“In each episode, we join Meghan in the kitchen, garden — and even at the beehive — as she prepares to host friends both old and new,” a Netflix description read. “Whether Meghan is sharing personal tips and tricks, or taking the opportunity to learn something new, it’s a time for connection.”
