I find it abhorrent, disgusting and an abuse of state power to render a decision to develop a 100-acre site for an off-shore wind mill port on the largest undeveloped island in Penobscot Bay. And let’s not forget it is going to cost hundreds of millions of dollars to develop the site!
If a camp owner moves so much as a rock into a body of water in front of their camp, it seems the state is right on it. But yet the Mills administration is OK doing this? I think the whole story is not being told. Mack Point would welcome the business and has the infrastructure to handle it and is making more room available for wind mill equipment storage. And their facility is right around the corner.
I thought Maine was pro-conservative and pro-business. I guess not! I hope this site development goes down in flames!
