A passerby rescued a driver trapped in a burning vehicle in Lebanon on Monday night.
The driver was traveling on Long Swamp Road when they left the road and struck a tree, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash left the driver trapped in the vehicle, which caught fire, the sheriff’s office said Tuesday.
Witnesses told deputies that a passerby pulled the driver from the burning vehicle. The passerby was gone before first responders arrived and no one got their name.
The driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
