A Mexico man is missing.
Edward Fontaine, 71, was last seen leaving his Penley Street home about 2 p.m. Wednesday, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Fontaine never returned home, which is “unusual,” Moss said Thursday.
Fontaine suffers from cognitive issues.
Moss described Fontaine as a white man who stands 5-foot-10, weighs 220 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and brown pants. He was driving a red 2014 Ford Edge with Maine registration 768VE.
Anyone with information about Fontaine’s whereabouts can call the Oxford Regional Communications Center at 207-743-9554, option 0.
