I recently joined Penobscot County Sheriff Troy Morton, Shepherd’s Godparent Home Executive Director Barbara Ford and many more at a screening of “PTSD911” in Bangor.
This documentary deals with the trauma our first responders deal with on our behalf. They are the people standing on the front lines to ensure we stay safe each day.
I’m writing to thank Morton, Ford and everyone involved in bringing this documentary to Bangor.
I appreciated their invitation and believe deeply in their mission to spread the word about what our first responders deal with on our behalf.
I am running for Congress, and in Congress, I’ll immediately be backing the 911 Saves Act. The bill would give emergency dispatchers the recognition they deserve for taking on such a heavy burden on our behalf.
Thank you to all first responders who take on this extremely difficult task.
