A teenage boy was killed Saturday morning in a crash in Livermore.
A 16-year-old was driving south on Norlands Road about 10:11 a.m. when he lost control on the wet road and crashed into a utility pole, according to the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office.
There were three passengers, ages 16 and 17, in the vehicle. One of the passengers, a 16-year-old boy, died at the scene.
The driver and other two passengers were taken to a local hospital, where they were treated for injuries not considered life-threatening.
Speed and wet conditions are considered factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
