Both Fulham and Nottingham Forest have submitted bids for Liverpool defender Neco Williams, according to reports.
The Welsh defender spent the second half of 2021-22 on loan with Fulham, appearing 14 times as he helped them back into the top flight at the first time of asking, contributing two goals and two assists in that time.
Now, following the arrival of Calvin Ramsay, which is expected to be made official in the coming days, a deal could be sped up for Williams’ departure.

Williams will want to find regular first-team football ahead of the World Cup finals in Qatar, with Wales being represented for the first time since 1958, and both clubs would be able to offer him that.
Forest have seemingly lost out on Djed Spence to Tottenham, with their former loanee favouring a move to north London over a stay in the midlands, meaning that they will be searching for a replacement.
Meanwhile, Fulham showed that they could find a role for him in the latter end of last season, with both sides now able to offer Premier League football next campaign.
It is thought that Liverpool value the defender at £15m, and Si.com report that both sides have submitted bids for Williams, though it is unclear whether or not they have matched the asking price.
