Alessandro Bastoni has made it clear that he wants to remain at Inter Milan, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The defender is Tottenham’s main target for defence and they had been pushing to get him.
However, Antonio Conte’s persuading has failed to convince the 23-year-old as the prospect of playing in England is reportedly not something which really convinces him.
For now, he has closed the door on a move to Spurs.
€65 million offer could change the situation

However, the financial situation of Inter Milan is pretty clear.
The Nerazzurri need to raise funds and make a major sale this summer to balance the books.
TuttoSport claim that should Spurs make an offer of €65 million then Inter could push Bastoni towards the exit door.
Clément Lenglet alternative being explored
Barcelona are working to close a deal for Clément Lenglet to join Tottenham on loan for two seasons, as per esport3.
The defender is no longer in the plans of Xavi and will be allowed to leave.
