The home support in attendance at Wolverhampton Wanderers’ meeting with Norwich City this afternoon have made use of the opportunity to send a message to the club’s board over a key member of Bruno Lage’s squad.
The player in question? Ruben Neves.
Midfield metronome Neves has of course been hotly tipped for a Molineux exit ahead of the summer, amid links with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United.
The Wolves faithful, though, evidently remain hopeful that the club’s star performer will ultimately go on to stay put.
In turn, during the club’s latest Premier League outing on Sunday, the club’s supporters to have made the trip to Molineux were sure to make their feelings known.
This came as chants of ‘Don’t sell Neves’ rang out around the stadium, in a clear-as-day message to the Wolves hierarchy ahead of the summer.
“Don’t sell Neves” sing the South Bank, can’t make out the rest of the chant but you get the idea.

Pukki on target
Turning attentions towards matters on the pitch on Sunday, it has proven an afternoon to forget thus far for all associated with Wolves.
This comes with Lage and co. trailing a Norwich outfit long condemned to life back in the Championship by a goal to nil early in the 2nd-half of play.
The game’s telling moment thus far arrived shortly before the interval, when Teemu Pukki, who caused Wolves’ backline problems throughout the opening 45 minutes, finally made the pressure count in slotting a left-footed finish beyond John Ruddy.
