Cardi B revealed that she is expecting her fourth baby, her first with boyfriend Stefon Diggs.
“I am having a baby with my boyfriend,” Cardi, 32, said about her and Diggs, 31, on Wednesday, September 17, while being interviewed by Gayle King for CBS Mornings.
Cardi already shares daughter Kulture, 7, son Wave, 3, and daughter Blossom, 11 months, with ex-husband Offset.
Rumors began to circulate that the “Bodak Yellow” rapper was pregnant with her fourth child after she appeared in court in August to testify in the trial for a 2020 assault lawsuit brought against her by security guard Emani Ellis. (Cardi was eventually cleared of all liability on September 2.)

During the trial, Cardi gave photographers a middle finger and threw a pen at a reporter standing outside of the court who kept asking her about a possible pregnancy, according to video footage obtained by TMZ.
“Insiders are claiming that Offset is publicly bragging about getting you pregnant for the fourth time. Do you foresee any fraternity issues with Stefon Diggs?” the reporter asked.
Cardi appeared to walk over to someone with a pen before throwing it in the reporter’s direction.
“Stop disrespecting me,” she explained. “Don’t disrespect me.”
While the reporter noted that they still “love” her “even though” she “threw some stuff” at them, Cardi noted that she didn’t “care” and the person was still “disrespectful.”

“Don’t do that,” she said. “Do you see women asking those type of questions to me? Why do you feel, as a man, [that] you get to ask me those type of questions? Act like you have some manners. And your mama taught you: respect women.”
Following her divorce from Offset, 33, in July 2024, E! News reported that October that Cardi was spotted with Diggs at a club. While Cardi initially denied they were dating, she kept hanging out with Diggs — and they eventually confirmed their relationship via Instagram in June.
Nearly three months after confirming their romance, Cardi shared that it was hard to date another public figure after her tumultuous split from Offset.
“It was very tough, but it is what it is. It’s tough hiding,” she said in a cover interview with Billboard in September. “It’s tough dating in your 30s too, but I like him. I love him today. I was always scared of dating people [because] I’ve always been in a long relationship since I was, like, 21.”
Cardi noted that she is impressed by “how hard” Diggs works as an athlete.
“I work hard, but I can take a little break,” she joked to the outlet. “I can lay back and I don’t have to be running, but it’s very inspirational to see how hard somebody works. It’s just like, ‘Wow. You should be proud of yourself.’”
