UPDATE— 9/16/25 at 8:27 p.m. ET: Ned Fulmer and his wife, Ariel Fulmer, are separated three years after he admitted to having an extramarital affair with an employee, multiple outlets report.

A spokesperson for the Try Guys cofounder told People on Tuesday, September 16, that Ned “cares deeply” for Ariel and that the twosome are currently working on something new. Per the spokesperson, the duo recently traveled to Greece earlier this summer with their two children.

TMZ was first to report the news.

Original story below:

Try Guys’ Ned Fulmer Breaks Silence 3 Years After Cheating Scandal

Try Guys YouTuber Ned Fulmer is pulling back the curtain on his past three years after news broke of his infidelity in 2022.

In a since-deleted statement, Fulmer, 38, admitted at the time that he had a “consensual workplace relationship” with one of the content creation group’s employees. The remaining Try Guys shared that Fulmer was “no longer working” with the crew and had been edited out of videos.

In the aftermath, Ned focused on his relationship with Ariel Fulmer and pursued couples therapy. While Ned admitted there were “many points” he wondered if the pair’s romance would last, the couple went on to build a “foundation of trust” and move forward together.

“It’s certainly stronger than it was before,” Ned told People in an interview published on Tuesday, September 16, of the pair’s relationship. “We have a much clearer sense of boundaries — understanding and respecting each other’s boundaries — as well as integrity and being direct with each other, even when it might be unpleasant.”

Ned, who shares two children with his wife, said it was “devastating” to realize “how much pain” he caused Ariel, 39. “If I were looking at a past version of myself, how I’d really want to change [is] the way I’d been interacting with her,” he shared.

Now, as Ned and Ariel look forward, he is also transitioning back to the content creation space and is set to drop the first episode of his “Rock Bottom” podcast on Wednesday, September 17.

“It’s made me a lot more interested in other people’s challenging times,” he reflected on life post-cheating scandal. “When someone does something that they’re really ashamed about or that is deeply traumatizing, life goes on. So what happens next?”

While Ned plans to interview “anyone who’s overcome something challenging,” the initial episode will feature Ariel. Ned shared that he decided to reenter the spotlight because the past three years have changed him “as a person and as an artist,” and because he doesn’t want to be seen online as “a caricature or this one-dimensional type of person” like he used to.

Why ‘Mormon Wives’ Stars Don’t Think Demi and Bret’s Marriage Will Last

“It’s pretty well known that I was presenting myself as a wife guy who talked about his adorable relationship,” he shared. “It was something fans seemed to resonate with and I leaned into consciously. It certainly was a part of my life.”

“I understand that that’s why it was such a big scandal — because it’s ironic and it feels like a rug pull to people,” Fulmer continued. “That must have been really painful and devastating to the viewers.”
