Ethan Slater hopes fans of his girlfriend, Ariana Grande, will be able to see her Eternal Sunshine Tour despite current ticketing issues.
“Ari’s fans are unbelievable and incredible and ferocious in their support of her — and it’s a beautiful thing,” Slater, 33, told People in an interview published on Saturday, September 13. “I really hope that there are other opportunities to see her perform.”
He added of the ticket sales drama, “It’s really intense, and I’ve been, sort of, following along. It’s kind of an amazing thing that so many people wanna see her shows, you know? Like what a beautiful thing.”
Slater and Grande, 32, have been dating since summer 2023 after meeting on the set of Wicked following their respective divorces. Since then, Slater’s been one of Grande’s biggest supporters — of both her music and acting career.

Tickets for Grande’s Eternal Sunshine Tour went on sale earlier this week, though many fans expressed frustration via social media when they were unable to secure tickets. After waiting in outrageously long Ticketmaster queues, devoted fans quickly discovered that most of the seats were already bought up by third-party vendors. The sites then tried to resell each ticket for an increased fee.
Grande addressed the resale issues in a statement shared via her Instagram on Saturday.
“Hi my angels, I have been on set all week, but I wanted to let you know that what’s been happening with the secondary ticket resellers has been brought to my attention,” she wrote. “Of course, I am incredibly bothered by it. I’ve been on the phone every second of my free time, fighting for a solution.”
The Oscar nominee further stressed that she hoped to get more tickets into the hands of her fans before the concerts kick off in June 2026.

“I hear you and, hopefully, we will be able to get more of these tickets into your hands instead of theirs. It’s not right,” Grande stated. “I just wanted you to know that my team and I see it and that I care very much. We will do, and are doing, everything we can. I love you all so much. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
Grande announced in August that she planned to tour her latest album, Eternal Sunshine, after its February 2024 release.
“I think it is very different in a lot of ways,” she said on the “Zach Sang Show” after the record came out. “It’s also touching on Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, so it’s kind of a concept album, which I also haven’t done before. That’s also kind of why I don’t want to put out a second single before the album because I would like for it to be heard in one piece.”
The LP recently won Best Pop and Video of the Year at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards.
