Some fans take shows with high Rotten Tomatoes scores for granted, but the reality is that only a handful ever score 90 percent or higher on RT.
That’s one of the reasons why only two of the new shows on Netflix in September reached that benchmark.
However, the third show came so close to hitting the mark that we’re going to give it a pass for this month. Besides, any positive critical appraisals before its Netflix debut may push it over 90 percent.

‘Orphan Black’ (2013 – 2017)

Orphan Black made a star out of Tatiana Maslany by giving her the roles of a lifetime. And yes, we mean “roles,” because Sarah Manning isn’t the only character Maslany plays on the show. At the start of the series, Sarah is just a con artist who has no idea about her complicated history. All she knows is that someone who could have been her twin just committed suicide, and Sarah takes the opportunity to steal the dead woman’s identity with the intent to empty her bank account.
However, the late Detective Beth Childs (Maslany) left behind a lot of proverbial baggage. Once Sarah steps into Beth’s shoes, there’s no easy way back to her own life when she is mistaken for the dead woman. Sarah is also going to learn that she and Beth were clones, and they aren’t the only ones.

‘Nashville’ (2012 – 2016)
Rotten Tomatoes rank: 89 percent
One Rotten Tomatoes percentage point is no reason why you should miss out on Nashville. 89 percent is a very respectable rank for a network series that ran for six seasons. And if you love country music, this is definitely the show to watch. Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere star as Rayna Jaymes and Juliette Barnes, respectively.

Rayna has reached the peak of her career in country, and she’s no longer as popular as she was. And yet she’s still iconic enough that her much younger rival singer, Juliette, will do almost anything to replace Rayna in the hearts and minds of her fans. Nashville had several original songs that debuted during its time on TV, and you may end up looking for them before you finish bingeing this series.
Nashville will stream on Netflix on September 15.
‘Interview With the Vampire’ (2022 – Present)

Three decades after the feature film of the same name, AMC released its own version of Anne Rice‘s Interview With the Vampire. Game of Thrones‘ Jacob Anderson stars as Louis de Pointe du Lac, the vampire in question who is interviewed by a journalist named Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian).
Through flashbacks, Louis recounts how he was transformed by Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid), and the tumultuous relationship that unfolds across the decades. Not even transforming a girl named Claudia (Bailey Bass and Dalainey Hayles) to be their surrogate daughter is enough to salvage their bond.
