Police seized more than two kilograms of drugs Tuesday during a raid in Bangor.
Eileen Chase, 45, of Bangor and William Sanchez, 39, of Waterbury, Connecticut, have been charged with aggravated drug trafficking, according to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.
On Tuesday afternoon, police executed a search warrant at a Sidney Street apartment, where they found a kilo of cocaine, a kilo of fentanyl, 284 gross grams of crack cocaine, two handguns and more than $36,000 in suspected drug proceeds, the MDEA said.
Sanchez was arrested before police searched the apartment, and Chase was arrested Wednesday afternoon.
They were both taken to the Penobscot County Jail, where Sanchez was being held on $150,000 bail and Chase on $100,000 bail.
