The 45-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency services were called to the site on Woodend Avenue in Speke at around 7.20pm on Monday.

Silos are usually large structures used to contain bulk materials.

Merseyside Police has not revealed the height the man fell from or any other details of the industrial incident.
