BANGOR — This September, FYZICAL Twin City Bangor is proud to join hundreds of clinics nationwide in launching Fight the Fall — a month-long campaign dedicated to raising awareness about balance issues, dizziness and the serious risks associated with falls.
Falls are the leading cause of injury among older adults, yet many are preventable with the right care. That’s why FYZICAL is bringing the spotlight to vestibular health and fall prevention, using a fun, eye-catching theme: flamingos.
“Flamingos are known for their incredible ability to balance gracefully on one leg. Throughout September, FYZICAL will host a Harvest your Health: Fight the Fall family oriented festival on Sept. 20, provide free balance screenings and share resources to help the Bangor community reduce fall risk. The clinic invites residents of all ages to stop by and learn more.
