A man died Thursday evening after his ATV rolled over in Berwick.
Tyler Anderson, 31, of Berwick and his passenger, 33-year-old Keri Roche, were riding a Polaris RZR 900 on a trail near Hall Road about 6:15 p.m. when they veered off the trail, hit an embankment and rolled over, according to Mark Latti, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
Anderson was airlifted to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, New Hampshire, with life-threatening injuries, Latti said late Thursday night.
He died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Roche suffered injuries to her face not considered life-threatening.
Investigators believe Anderson was driving too fast for the terrain before the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
