Andre Cushing III was selected Maine County Commissioner of September in honor of his community service by Spirit of America Foundation’s Maine Chapter.
Cushing has been serving as a Penobscot County commissioner since 2018 and currently is president of Maine County Commissioners Association.
In prior years he served two terms in Maine House of Representatives, three terms in Maine State Senate and as a town councilor in two communities.
