Denise Richards is feeling like herself again.
Richards, 54, opened up about undergoing a breast revision surgery via Instagram on Wednesday, August 27, after rupturing both her implants during season 3 of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. In the video, Richards said she is already “feeling pretty good” after her surgery.
“I’m so happy,” she gushed, noting Dr. Robert Cohen was the one to thank for the results.
One week into healing, Richards shared that she’s excited about the results. “I can’t wait for bikini season,” she said.

“After over a year of struggling with issues involving my implants, I finally feel healthy and confident in my body,” she captioned the post. “To anyone out there navigating something similar – I’m sharing this because I’ve been there. You deserve to feel your best, and I know how overwhelming it can be to navigate everything and to find the right people you can trust.”
She noted that she has had implants since she was 19 years old, adding, “Back then in the ’90s, we were all much more private than we are now. I’m so grateful that today we can be more open, support one another and share our experiences.

Richards ruptured both her implants while jumping off a bridge for a challenge while filming Special Forces. In January, she revealed during a SiriusXM episode of Jeff Lewis Live that the harness she was wearing was to blame for rupturing both implants. At the time, she still had not gotten them fixed.

“I still have to get them redone,” she said at the time. “I was supposed to a month ago but couldn’t because we were filming, so yeah, no, I still have to get them redone.”
Richards also noted that she was the one who would be paying for the surgery and not her insurance, joking that she “signed [her] life away doing that show.”
“It’s dangerous,” she said.
