A fire destroyed a camper on a remote property in Oxford on Tuesday.
The fire broke out about 12:29 p.m. at the property on Outback Jack Drive, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Investigators can’t rule out that a generator started the fire, but the extensive damage has made it impossible to conclusively say how the blaze began, Moss said Wednesday.
No one was injured in the fire. The camper, which has no electrical service, was unoccupied when the fire broke out, according to Moss.
The investigation is ongoing.
