An Alaska man was killed early Tuesday morning in a crash on Interstate 95 in Plymouth.
Tyler Cochran, 40, of Skagway, Alaska, was driving a 2008 Hyundai north on I-95, near mile marker 161, about 1:28 a.m. when he crashed and the car ended up on its roof in the median, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Cochran died at the scene, Moss said Tuesday.
Police believe Cochran may have been speeding and impaired before the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
Correction: The Maine Department of Public Safety initially reported that Cochran was from Arkansas, not Alaska.
