A South Berwick motorcyclist died Friday after a collision with another vehicle in York.
The 36-year-old was riding the motorcycle on Birch Hill Road about 6:24 p.m. when he and a 78-year-old York man driving another vehicle collided, according to the York Police Department.
The motorcyclist, who hasn’t been publicly identified, died at the scene.
The York man was taken to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, New Hampshire, where he was treated for an apparent head injury.
The Maine medical examiner’s office will determine the motorcyclist’s cause of death.
The crash remains under investigation.
